A hadith recited “When Rasulullah SAW died, he was covered with a Hibra Burd, which is a green square garment.” In the holy Quran itself describes paradise as a place where people will wear green garments of fine silk:
Upon them will be green Garments of fine silk and heavy brocade, and they will be adorned with Bracelets of silver; and their Lord will give to them to drink of a Wine Pure and Holy. (Al Insan 76:21)
